Stirling Council have posted a revised road closure notice for Cadger's Loan.
Apologies for the previous misleading information, but it was taken from the Council website. Apparently the contractor has now changed the date.
The road from the village will be closed between 09:00 and 17:0 on 16th, 17th and 18th August. The section affected is between Pleanbank cottages and the North Drive entrance.
There will be no vehicular access from the village , but pedestrian access will be maintained .
There will be normal vehicular access from the Roman road direction.
The road is closed to facilitate the safe removal of a dangerous diseased Beech and some Ash suffering from dieback.
Pedestrian access from the village will be maintained the gate at the trotting track to allow access at that point. however no vehicular access from the village. There will however be full access from the Roman Road.
