The frog figure in the Park has received a new coat of paint.

At the work day in August some of the regular Friends volunteers carried out some maintenance tasks in the park.
Kermit has had some TLC and a fresh coat of paint, the slabs in front of the Miners Statue has been weeded and the bust has been prepared for a new coat of paint.
In the walled garden the grass was edged and the old apple trees in the walled garden have been pruned, removing, dead, damaged and diseased branches.
At the entrance to the park the sign, previously hidden by foliage, is visible once again and a large branch blocking  a path was cut up and removed, and the path around the dipping pond, neglected for many years, has been opened up.
