The chainsaw carvings have had a new lease of life thanks to the efforts of the Friends volunteers. Over a couple of weekends in April the carvings have been cleaned and oiled.

It started with a good wash and scrub to remove accumulastions of dirt and moss which had accumulated over the year.

The weather was perfect the following weekend allowing our volunteers to finish off with a coat of decking oil.
