Trim Trail Installed
The construction of the Trim Trail is now complete and it is ready for the first users.
A few months ago the Friends of Plean Country Park were successful in securing a grant of almost £6500 from the Clacks and Sirling Environment Trust to enable us to purchase new wooden Trim Trail equipment for the park.
Contractors and Council Land Services Team have now completed the installation of the Trim Trail in the woodland near the dipping pond.
The equipment is constructed from pressure treated engineered laminated redwood beams and is designed to be safe and durable, for use by youths and adults taller than 1.4m.
There are six pieces of equipment: Parallel Bars, Balance Beam, Horizontal Ladder, Abs Bench, Traversing Wall and Ladder Net Climb. These are designed to exercise different areas of the body, and details of the muscle groups benefiting from each item are displayed on the equipment.
