New Trim Trail

A few months ago the Friends of Plean Country Park were successful in securing a grant of almost £6500 from the Clacks and Sirling Environment Trust to enable us to purchase new wooden Trim Trail equipment for the park.

The equipment will be installed in the wooded area behind the frog by the dipping ponds adjacent to the childrens play area. Stirling Council Land Services Team had carried out some preparatory work in this area and a contractor will begin installation  on Thursday 1st of December.

When this is complete the Land Services Team will put bark down to finish of the trail and the project should be complete before the end of the year.

This area will complement the children's play area installed last year and be suitable for adults and children alike. A great way to take some exercise outdoors and cheaper than a gym membership for a workout. The pictures below show the type of equipment which is to be installed.
